My Bio
Started drawing Feb 2014 as therapy after an injury to pass the time during rehabilitation. Self taught with the aid of internet instruction through youtube. I draw what I see. I am not able to draw from inspiration as of yet. I also cannot draw inanimate objects very well. I specialize in portraits and emotional pieces, mostly family and friends.

Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
John Mayer (only his LIVE stuff), Patrick Sweaney, Blues that haunt you
Favourite Books
Memoirs of a Geisha
Tools of the Trade
Staedtler, Draftline, Alvin, Pentel, Papermate TUFF STUFF, and Canson
Other Interests
Roller Derby
In February of 2014, I happened to pick up a pencil out of boredom. I began drawing. I didn't start out fantastic, but I started. Since that time I have sought out internet video and instruction to improve my skills as I have no formal instruction. A friend who admires my art told me I should set up a deviant account to share and display my art. So...here I am. I specialize in portrait drawing because it is an emotional expression. I can "feel" it. I think this has much to do with why I am unable to draw inanimate objects very well as of yet. I draw from photographs. I pick and choose those photographs based on the emotion reflected in them

:onfire: Greetings Lena and thanks for adding ~DanteWontDie's artwork with the Alice-Reworked skins to your favourites.

P.S. Your 'vintage photo' sketch looks like my Aunty Julie.
You're certainly welcome! Great piece!

And the vintage is a friend's mom and she's a Pat ;)
